Introducing Impact X

August 22, 2014

During Offshore Northern Seas in Stavanger this week. BARTEC PIXAVI is launching a brand new intrinsically safe Android smartphone for use in explosive and hazardous areas. The product is called Impact X, and is designed from scratch by BARTEC PIXAVI. The product is certified according to IECEx and ATEX Zone 1 requirements.

The BARTEC PIXAVI Impact X is probably the toughest smartphone you will ever meet, designed to communicate using high quality audio and hardware accelerated video over 3G and Wi-Fi networks. The product fulfills key requirements for rich communication and data access in industrial and hazardous environments. The product is designed with the user in mind, and received the “Award for Design Excellence” awarded by the Norwegian Design Council in April 2014. The product represents the next generation wireless video communication technology from BARTEC PIXAVI.

“We designed the phone with tough industrial environments in mind, where battery lifetime, ruggedness, sunlight readability and camera performance are essential” says CEO Christian Rokseth. Razorsharp and vibrant 1080p video, combined with a bundled cloud management and video service, makes the Impact X a very powerful product. The product is reliable and user friendly and built in a very compact, power efficient and rugged design.

Get a first hand look at the device during ONS at BARTEC PIXAVIs stand in Hall M Stand 1138. Read more on the Impact X product page, and the press release found here.
