The Orbit X explosion proof Wi-Fi camera takes clear 1080p images and video which be stored locally on the device or streamed in high quality over Wi-Fi. It is designed to be used in confined, dark and hard to reach areas. With focus on simple, user friendly operation in a compact, power efficient and rugged design, it is a very versatile product. The Orbit X can be used as a helmet, inspection or surveillance camera. It can be used as a standalone camera as well as in combination with the Impact X Intrinsically Safe Smartphone or Gravity X Intrinsically Safe Camera.

Full HD video conferencing

The Orbit X is nothing short of a technological innovation statement by BARTEC PIXAVI. Imagine that a camera this compact and rugged can record and stream 1080p video and 8 megapixel still images wirelessly.

The camera is very flexible and user friendly. As standard, we are bundling the SIPIDO app, that allows you to do full HD video conferencing wirelessly. The Wi-Fi camera can stream video to any SIP video conferencing system.

You can also record images and video locally, and transfer them to a computer using USB. The Orbit X has 32 GB of internal memory for several thousand images and hours of HD video.

Integrated LED & Laser

The Orbit X is equipped with two powerful video light LEDs for dark scene illumination. It is designed for use in confined, dark and hard to reach areas. The LED light will not trigger any optical alarms. The integrated laser pointer allows for easy collaboration when in a real time communication session, and can be used for pointing and explanation. The light and laser can be toggled on / off with the touch of a button.

Connectivity and Management

The Orbit X is cloud managed, meaning that functionality can be managed from any browser. This means that it can be managed remotely using the Collaboration X Cloud Management Solution. The Orbit X can also be configured wirelessly with any Android smartphone. The Orbit X app for configuring the device from an Android device is available on Google Play.

Modes of operation

The Orbit X explosion proof wifi camera is very versatile, and can be used for a wide range of inspection, maintenance, documentation, communication and collaboration tasks. The Orbit X can both be used as a standalone camera or camcorder with local recording
or as a video conferencing endpoint managed from the cloud. Images and video can also be transferred wirelessly.

Buttons & indication

We have worked hard to make this camera as easy to use as possible. Each function has a dedicated button: illumination/laser, recording/snapshot and on/off. It comes with a simple quick guide and is very easy to set up for the first time. You can use the Impact X intrinsically safe smartphone, or a regular Android smartphone, or a computer with a browser to pair the Orbit X with a Wi-Fi network the first time.

Headsets

The headset connection allows for the camera to be used as a complete wireless video headset with a direct audio output that works with any headset. The Orbit X also has built in Bluetooth for wireless headsets. Check out the Accessories section for more information.

Universal mounts

The Orbit X has many use cases. We have therefore made a set of customized mounts that makes you able to use the camera wherever you want. The Orbit X is shipped with with helmet and wall mounts included. Telescopic poles (accessory) can also be used to film and inspect those hard to reach areas, no need for rope access and ladders! The devices can quickly and safely be removed and docked in any position. The Orbit X also has a strap mount for dropped object safety cables and accessories such as neck and wrist straps.

New Orbit X app

Since the Orbit X does not have any display or keyboard, you can configure it from Collaboration X or the Orbit X app. The Orbit X app is now available for all Android devices (4.4 or newer) on Google Play, as well as on all BARTEC PIXAVI mobile devices, the Gravity X Intrinsically Safe Camera and the Impact X Intrinsically Safe Smartphone. When the Orbit X is paired with an Orbit X app running on and Android smartphone you can:
