Intro
The EX-AP-A Aluminium is an ATEX and IECEx Zone 1 and Zone 2 certified explosion proof Intrinsically Safe Wi-Fi access point. It is highly customizable and supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency ranges. The Intrinsically Safe Wi-Fi Aluminium access point has been custom designed to accommodate a wide range of configurations such as PoE/Cat6, lightning protection, amplification and several antenna connections and configurations.
With the EX-AP-A Aluminuim Intrinsically Safe Wi-Fi access point you can easily, and cost effectively implement a state of the art wireless network in your hazardous areas. The EX-AP-A has a dual radio design that enables coexistence of 802.11n, 802.11g and 802.11a networks. Wireless networks help organizations cut cabling cost and increase connectivity within their own facilities to start utilizing a wide range of Intrinsically Safe Wi-Fi wireless applications. Fewer cables means less installation and maintenance.
